Özet

© 2022 IEEE.In general, Generation Planning studies constitute the first step of Transmission Expansion Planning (TEP) studies. Optimal Power Flow studies are also important in Generation Planning studies. Since it gives effective and efficient results, Optimal Power Flow (DC-OPF) which is a linearized formation of AC power flow with some assumptions is widely used. In this study, the DC-OPF problem is modeled as a linear problem and technical and economic results regarding generation planning are obtained. Garver-6 Bus test system is used as the test system. As a result of the optimization, the total generation value, the total generation cost, and the generation and cost values for each power plant are obtained.
